and I know it was meant to be
that my childhood was 
footloose and fancy free
no worries about the death
of the birds and the bees
now I watch my children
Struggle
with things that were never
things before
what will it be after the
third world 
global warming
isolation war
I don't have anymore to say
cause I just said it all
if you've got something to do
to help
get off your couch
stop going to the mall
and do something for everyone
cause everyone includes you
my son
it's gonna get worse
before it gets better
so get out you purse
and give them the money 
they asked for
actually please don't
cause the money they asked for
is only gonna start a war
and that's not what your
money is for
