SUBWAY

I saw them running
from the subway
said things are gonna be 
our way
i said I don't think so
no way
then they got back on 
the subway
subway dreams
corporate schemes
I don't know
what it's all
supposed to mean
I saw the subway people
stand in line
for tickets they did not know
were mine
but then again
I am only sleeping
inside the the politic mind
I saw them running over from 
the train tracks
big packs on their backs
guarding the people
that were changing
their tracks
I saw them running from 
the Subway
to condemn
my way
I saw them running from 
the wrong way
I think I'll just go back
to sleep
today
